Simon, Vincent, and Julius on Facebook

Simon Jones, Vincent Hugo Baronowski III and Julius Growley are now on Facebook, just search for their names and send them a friend request. (By the way, they don't know we're making a show about it them. Ssh.)

We're trying to get Gloria to join too, but she wants to see how much trouble the boys get into first!

ANIMATORS WANTED

The Schoolies crew needs more animators!

Ideally, you will:
- be able to draw,
- have at least a basic knowledge of Flash animation,
- be able to work one or more days a week on Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday,
- have a good work ethic.

If you can do some work from home this would be a bonus!

The position is unpaid but you will gain valuable experience in Flash animation, and be trained by some of the best animators in Perth.

If you are keen to gain a headstart in animation (or someone you know is), let me know via the contact details below.

Cheers,
Evangeline Than

Time to put the pressure on ...

The Schoolies crew have made a promise to ourselves: we are going to finish three scenes before the Christmas break.

Voice recording!

What a blast we had recording voices for Schoolies last Friday!

We discovered so much talent during the auditions. It was hard to choose between them, but in the end we found all our characters, and there were a lot of "Ah ha! You'll be perfect!" moments.

On recording day, all our actors took direction well and fitted their characters like gloves. Gloves with excellent diction and interpretive skills.

Wendi Graham, sound engineer extraordinaire, came in to look after us. Wendi has the keen hearing of rare nocturnal marsupials. Not only can she detect the smallest sound problem, but more importantly, she has the technical expertise and experience to fix it on the spot.

Our voices are with Wendi now, being polished and buffed. When they come back we can get into the real meat of animating this first episode. I can't wait.

Hi all,

A reminder that the Schoolies competition ends tonight at midnight (Perth time--apologies to our friends in the Eastern states), so get those entries in!

T J has revealed that there is still one category that needs more entries, so make sure you have something submitted for each one to increase your chances of winning these fabulous tees.
